Congratulations to Caroline Inglis on officially becoming a member of the LPGA! Caroline earned her status as an LPGA Member at Q-School in Daytona Beach, FL on December 5th, 2016. Caroline is a Eugene native that grew up playing Emerald Valley Golf & Resort with her brother Colin, who is now the Assistant Golf Professional at Emerald Valley. Caroline’s ties to Emerald Valley run deep and we could not be more proud of her accomplishments.
Caroline spent four years on the Oregon Ducks Women’s Golf Team, graduating in 2016 after a sensational career capped off with a trip to the Match Play portion of the NCAA Championships in May in Eugene and a Eugene CC new course record. After making her debut on the LPGA Tour at the 2016 Cambia Portland Classic in June, Caroline officially began the process of qualifying for status on the LPGA Tour. Despite being injured, Caroline found a way to shoot up the leaderboard on the final day of Q-School to earn her status as an LPGA Member. Caroline will compete in 8-10 events on the LPGA Tour and play on the Symetra Tour in 2017.
“I just want to say thank you again to ALL of you who made this possible. I feel truly lucky to be chasing my dreams at the age of 23.” said Caroline “I've dreamed of being a member of the LPGA since I started playing golf and now it has actually come true... it feels so surreal! Your support, kind words, and help have made this possible for me and I will be forever grateful for that. I have such a great team of supporters behind me and I cannot wait to see what's in store for the 2017 season.... the sky is the limit!!”
The Emerald Valley family will be rooting for you Caroline!
