What's in store for 2008?

2007 was kicked off with a dual pond renovation that covers 1.5 Acres the runs between the 11th and 17th holes. Yes, there are trophy sized Trout stocked as well.  If your concerned about the size to consider these to be deemed "Trophy Sized", this would be anything big enough to see!  The addition of 6 new Women's Tee's and the men's New Gold River Tee on 13!  

Scheduled Events for 2008 starts with the Emerald Valley Best Ball and U of O Men's Duck Invitational in March. The Emerald Valley Open in the end of April.  The OSAA State Boy's Tournament, and the OGA Women's Team Championship in May.  Then we move into the US Open Sectional Qualifier in June.  Then finish with the OGA Men's Stroke Play championship in August.

The first open event of the season is just around the corner and if you've never ahd the chance to participate in the Emerald Valley Best Ball, then maybe this is your year!  Practice round starts on Friday the 14th and rolls into 9:00 Tee Times on both Saturday and Sunday the 15th & 16th.

Because of the quality field of players of our annual Players Championship, and the true test of golf Emerald Valley has become, Emerald Valley Golf Club and the Oregon Golf association are joining hands. The OGA Stroke Play Championship and the Emerald Valley Stroke Play Championship will be combined into one large event. This means a higher quality field, better payouts and a better time.
